We sent out the beta version of our redesigned website for our friends and clients to look over to get their input on what they thought could be improved with the website. We really appreciate all of the great feedback we got and implemented a lot of the suggestions, and really want to thank everyone for their help in this process.

Years ago we came up with an idea for a website in the Poconos area that really reaches out to the community. Not only do we want to reach out to the community, but we also want it to be a place in which the community comes together. The place in which where a local could answer a question for a tourist. A place in which a local could stumble upon another local business and say “Wow, I didn’t know they were there”. We understand that there are other websites out there like this. The problem we ran into with all of these websites, seems to be a common theme. Basically these websites lack a good community base, missing the “heart and soul” of a place or event. We understand that it will be a continued process but we know we have great support as well as a great foundation. We are hoping the redesigned site with its additional features including the forums, a social networking directory and list of area activities and information will form a strong platform on which to expand the community base of Pocono Talk.
