“Going Viral” is a term you’re probably familiar with – it’s the rapid popularity of something that is posted on the internet(whether it’s a movie, image or more) that is shared multiple times amongst friends, family and coworkers and it takes on a life of it’s own – much like a virus.
Local Pocono resident and photographer Jason Farmer decided to take a video of his friend being repulsed by his baby’s dirty diaper. Only it wasn’t actually a dirty diaper, it was just pudding in the diaper, but the overreaction of his friend has made for a shareable video that has gone from a couple thousand views back when it was originally uploaded to YouTube in 2011, which jumped to more then 700,000 recently after it was aired on a popular MTV Show called Ridiculousness.
The video was a featured clip on The Today Show this morning, and was previously featured on TruTV as well. It just goes to show the power behind something going viral and can quickly take a person, business or product to the forefront almost overnight.
