Pocono Lake, PA – Pocono Mountain Provisions has opened its doors to provide local residents and visitors with a little bit of everything from home goods and gifts to grocery and vintage. Located on Route 940 in Pocono Lake, Pocono Mountain Provisions offers a carefully curated selection of unique artisanal goods, souvenirs, and pantry staples, many of which are sourced locally. Owners Laurie Nelson and Eric Russ who live just down the road in Pocono Pines found themselves doing a lot of hosting guests most weekends at their home and wanted a place where they could not only bring visitors to for a unique local shopping experience and souvenirs of the area, but also to pick up fun snacks and other hosting essentials from barware and mixers to serving bowls and platters. The shop combines their past career lives in art, food and retail with their love of the area, the outdoors, camping and hiking. The store’s focus on local products will expand in the coming months to include offerings of fresh cheeses, yogurt, and eggs sourced from nearby farms. The store also stocks a range of local Poconos books, hiking and camping guides, vintage artwork, and rustic decor, making it the perfect destination for anyone seeking a touch of local flair.
