If you travel throughout the Northeast you know that I-476 is a main route from Philadelphia to the Poconos and beyond. It’s rare to have a closure, so especially with peak fall foliage in the northern Poconos this weekend, please be sure to take note if you are traveling this weekend.
There will be a 55 hour weekend closure planned on the I-476, the PA Turnpike’s Northeastern Extension, between the Lehigh Valley Interchange at Exit 56 and Exit 74 – Mahoning Valley Interchange. This closure will take place starting Friday October 14th and will end on Monday October 17th as they will be replacing a bridge.
