Join the Downtown Hawley Partnership for its annual dinner and meeting on Wednesday, April 29th at 6pm in the Great Hall at the Hawley United Methodist Church. 2014-15 has been a great year for the DHP and for Hawley. DHP will be celebrating accomplishments such as the Benjamin Moore Main Street Matters program and the DHP streetscape improvements, the festivals and mixers, and the new businesses in town. Help plan for the future while reflecting on all the great things the community has accomplished together.
Meet with local area business leaders and enjoy great food, drink & jazz entertainment by The History of Fishes Duo. Outstanding Community Service Awards will be given, and guest speaker Tom Myles of the Delaware, Lackawaxen & Stourbridge Railroad will be discussing the new rail service from Honesdale to Hawley. The first excursion will be Saturday, May 9th.
The DHP is comprised of volunteers who are passionate about making Hawley a great place to live, work, and play—attend the dinner to learn how you can make a difference in your community and get to know more of your neighbors.
“This town is about community coming together. The annual dinner reminds us that every member of our community is tremendously valuable, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming some fresh faces to this event,” states Rory O’Fee, Marketing Committee of the DHP.
Tickets are $25 per person for the meal catered by Fluff’s Deli. Please RSVP by April 20; reservations are required as seating is limited. The dinner sells out annually, so register early by emailing info@visithawleypa.com or by mail to DHP, PO Box 584, Hawley, PA 18428.
