The politics of it all makes me sick, and I'm not sure what the circumstances were that brought it to this conclusion, but all I can hope is that the animals that would be saved by the shelter (300-500 per month), find good homes. To be truly honest I'd have to say yes and no. Are the Poconos a safer place to live then Philadelphia or New York? I'd have to say most definitely yes. What determines that though? Mt Airy – Is anything coming back for local taxes?
