Last weekend Hurricane Irene tore through the Poconos like a woman on a mission. It has been an incredibly and rather oddly 'calm' winter in the Poconos thus far. We got a bit of snow the day after Christmas - it wasn't that much but it caused a lot of traffic problems and hazardous driving.
