Camelback Resort officially launches the 2022/2023 ski season with opening on Friday, December 16th. There will also be an unveiling of their New Black Bear 6 Lift with Ribbon Cutting on Opening Day.
Camelback Resort announces its 2022/2023 Ski Season opens on Friday, December 16. The resort will unveil its new Black Bear 6, a high speed six-person lift, at a ribbon cutting ceremony with a DJ, coffee and more at 8 a.m. with the lifts set to start spinning at 9 a.m.
Voted one of the “Best Ski Resorts in the U.S. and Canada” in Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards and just 90 minutes from New York City and two hours from Philadelphia, Camelback is a year-round adventure destination that is always an exciting retreat for snow enthusiasts of all ages and proficiency levels from beginners to pros.
Targeted slopes and trails for opening day on December 16 are Sunbowl, Oak Grove, Turkey Trot, Coolmoor, The Hump, John Bailey, Sullivan’s Trail, King Tut, Meadows, Asp and Upper Ramble.
Celebrating its 59th winter anniversary, Camelback Mountain’s non-stop snow is facilitated by more than 1,500 guns covering 166 acres of slopes and employing a state-of-the-art snowmaking system.

HOURS OF OPERATION
December 16 to 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
December 23 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
December 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
December 25 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
December 26 and on from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
First Tracks for passholders is at 7:30 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, excluding Christmas Day
