Day 23: White Christmas?
Will we have a white Christmas this year in the Poconos? Right now any snow that we got over the past 2 days is almost gone, if not totally gone. It was only a slight dusting to an inch or so, but it was enough to cover the ground and give the appearance of winter.
It looks like Christmas Day itself will be relatively calm and clear in the Poconos, with some wet/wintery weather tomorrow on Christmas Eve. I doubt there will be enough to make a “White Christmas”, but the Wednesday and Thursday following Christmas it looks like there winter weather in store for the area. It looks like it’s shaping up to be more of an icy/wintry mix at this point, but weather is never predictable and changes at the drop of a hat, so we’ll see!
